When we think of a toned body, we think of a nicely sculpted body that is firm and doesn’t move with the wind! But what does that mean? It means we have to work our muscles, and the way we do that is by resistance training.
All that means is that you train your muscle by using a force against it, be it a dumbbell, a machine, a rubber band, or your own body, it all works. That’s the reason I can train people in their living rooms with a bag of rubber bands!
Men and women have identical muscle groups and so exercises very often are exactly the same, though men need more resistance as they tend to want bigger muscles, and women have different areas they feel need work!
And one more thing, we need to get rid of the fat to see the muscle, unfortunately for women we carry more fat to begin with!
