Helen Clark, Personal Trainer

I was born in England, where I studied dance, theater, and voice before beginning an acting career in the States. I am a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) member, and while I loved the performing arts, the stress and strain of touring, rehearsing, and performing drove me to research fitness regimens for my own well being.

I soon realized I was becoming more passionate about muscle tone than voice tone, and I’ve pursued a career as a personal trainer ever since. In that time I’ve seen food and fitness fashions come and go, and have winnowed the facts from the fads to develope a holistic body, soul and goals approach that is both practical and highly effective.

I inspire my clients with a love of fitness

I want them to feel alive and fabulous. I want them to understand that how they FEEL is a direct consequence of their lifestyle. When my clients take a week off from exercise, eat poorly, then come to me feeling drab, I am excited. I know that the day after they exercise they will FEEL better and the connection can be made!

When the link is made in their minds of “the body and soul” of fitness - that’s when I’m successful at my job!

What I do

I’ll teach you basic knowledge of anatomy so you understand how you need to work your body to get the results you desire. You’ll also learn the calorie content of the foods you eat, and raise your conciousness regarding the the calories you ingest.

When we work out together, you’ll experience the improvement in your strength, see the difference in the mirror, and feel great about yourself.

Why I do it

  • To empower my clients and friends with the knowledge they need to become physically fit
  • To motivate them to achieve new and exciting goals
  • To challenge them in ways that will make their new level of fitness become more functional in their lives

All so that they can continue with a more healthy and happy lifestyle.
